We Need Fresh Oil

In Matthew 25 Jesus shares a parable about ten virgins and their upcoming role in a wedding event. Five of these virgins were ready and had oil in their lamps and five had no oil. The point of the parable is the fact that many are not ready for the Lord's return. We  can busy ourselves with much activity and some of it may even be good, but when we neglect the best, which is prayer, then we fail to be who the Lord has called to be. Our culture is degenerating quickly. Basic truths that once guided us and kept us on course regarding politics, education, religion, family, etc., have been attacked as antiquated, non-relevant, bigoted, etc. We need a revolution of truth!
